Ford announced that its Ranger will be getting three new packages that enable more customization and capability. Named simply the Level 1, Level 2, and Level 3 Performance packages, they are available on 2019 and 2020 model Rangers with four-wheel drive.
The Ford Performance Level 1 package includes a leveling kit for off-road capability, Ford Performance-tuned FOX 2.0 Performance Series monotube shocks, 17-inch wheels in Dyno Gray, and Ford Performance graphics. It will cost $2,495 before installation.
Another $2,000 gets you the Ford Performance Level 2 package. It offers a recalibration of the 2.3-liter EcoBoost engine that boosts the horsepower by 16 percent to 315 horsepower and the torque 20 percent to 370 lb-ft of torque. It also adds BFGoodrich KO2 tires, blue tow hooks, and rigid off-road fog lights.
The last one, the Ford Performance Level 3 package, costs $8,995 but gives you everything Level 1 and 2 offer (except it replaces blue tow hooks with red ones). It also includes a rigid 30-inch LED lightbar kit, a Ford Performance sport exhaust, Ford Performance chase rack, and a front bumper that’s winch-capable.
The three performance packages will be available this August.
